Before you head out to your backyard BBQ, or to congregate at Rolling Thunder, take a minute to remember what Memorial Day is really for – to honor the fallen. To remember what they sacrificed so you can have that BBQ, to drink that beer, to ride around on that bike.
And don’t thank a vet today. That’s for Veteran’s Day. They’re the ones who came home. This weekend, pay your respects to the ones that didn’t. If you’re going to Rolling Thunder, demand we finally have a full accounting for the service members we’ve not found yet – dead or alive. Give their families the closure and peace they deserve by being reunited with their loved ones.
