Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad used for the loop around the United States this past summer is up for sale. The Craig’s List URL is: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/mcy/5493597390.html
This is an outstanding motorcycle that was purchased for a single, month-long, cross-country trip that covered 24 states and almost 9,000 mile. The bike performed flawlessly!
The Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad is an excellent cruiser/tourer and this two-tone blue/silver bike underwent a full service prior to the trip that included swapping out all fluids, except for the fork fluid. The bike also was serviced during the trip — oil changes, new rear tire, new front brake pads, and the clutch was replaced following the trip. Both tires have excellent rubber and the battery is approximately 2 years old.
The bike includes hard bag liners for travel purposes, passenger seat back and floor boards and a luggage rack. Also, Vance and Hines pipes, chubby cub holder on the handlebar, and a squirrel tail for quick and easy charging with a battery tender.
Condition of the bike is very good. It has a few chips here and there that one would expect for 2004 bike that has almost 30,000 miles on it, but over all it is in excellent shape.
